Medicine and surgery - II EDITION
The purpose of this master course is to provide participants a comprehensive knowledge of zoological medicine and surgery.
The course will cover all aspects of clinical anatomy, physiology and pathology of exotic, wild and zoo animals as well as the methods used for examination, diagnosis and treatment of their diseases. The most advanced diagnostic techniques, including endoscopy and surgical treatments, including minimal invasive surgery will be covered.
The course will be divided in five sessions focused on the main taxa (amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals). Each part will consist of five days of intensive training programs including lectures, interactive clinical cases and wetlabs.
